Counselling is one of the most important steps n the process of selecting a college. One wrong step and you would land in a college lower than the one you deserved.
Today I will guide you about counselling details of comed-K ( for admission in colleges of Bangalore, check the previous blog for more details ).
Comed-K rand card ( results ) were out on the 3rd of September and counselling process began on the 10th of September.
To be eligible for comed-K counselling :
a. Candidate should have appeared in comed-K examination.
b. Candidates should have passed Class 11th and 12th with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
c. Candidate should have passed the class 12th examination in a single attempt ( no compartment ).
d. English is a mandatory subject.
e. Applicants belonging to the general category should have passed the qualifying examination with at least 45% aggregate marks in PCM.
Documents required in Comed-K counselling :
a. Valid ID proof of Candidate as uploaded in the application form.
b. Comed-K rank card downloaded from the website.
c. Date of birth certificate or Class 10th result or SSLC.
d. Class 12th result or PUC.
All documents must be uploaded in PDF or JPG format with size under 1mb.
The last date of applying for round 1 counselling and uploading documents is 18/09/2020 till 5 pm.
Counselling Process :
1. the documents uploaded by the candidate will be verified till 30th of September.
2. On successful verification of documents, the candidate will be informed on their applicant's login portal of comedk.org
3. The college selection process will begin from 1st week of October and will be done in 3 rounds.
4. Candidates have to select all the colleges with branch preference in which they want to study in decreasing order of priority.
5. A mock seat allotment will be done so that candidates get an idea of the cutoff trend for the colleges.
